Jesse D. Broderick, CCIP

jesse broderickAs managing principal of Sumit Credits, Jesse is responsible for client service and delivery of results for all SumIt engagements. Jesse has over 19 years of extensive experience assisting companies in maximizing federal, state and local tax credits and incentives for both large and mid-size companies.  He has assisted his clients in saving millions of dollars through multi-state tax credits, rebates, grants and abatements. He has been asked to speak for a number of groups about incentives and tax credits.

He earned a Masters in Taxation from Arizona State University. He is a designated Certified Credits and Incentives Professional (CCIP) with the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (IPT), Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), and Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association (LIDEA).

Jesse enjoys fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities.

Robert Wege, MBA

Partner

robert wege Robert brings over 14 years of State and Local credits and incentives experience. Robert has a strong base in Louisiana Incentives focusing primarily on the Enterprise Zone and Quality Jobs programs. He enjoys building working relationships with the clients he serves and assisting them in maximizing the many benefits Louisiana has to offer.

Academically, Robert holds both a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting as well as a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University.

When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Shonna and three kids.  He also enjoys spending time at the gym, hunting, and bowfishing for redfish. He is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America as the Scoutmaster for Troop 174.

Renée Elliott

Office Manager

renee elliottRenée has worked with Sumit Credits, LLC for 10 years as the WOTC coordinator, Louisiana State and Local credits and incentives administrative and Office Manager. She has 21 years of experience with the state tax benefits.

Renée is a mother of two girls and one son and the grandmother of 7 beautiful grandchildren.  She spends her time fishing with her husband, church activities, and playing with the grandchildren.

Philip Steelman

Senior Associate

phillip steelmanPhilip has been with Sumit for over four years. His responsibilities cover a wide range of tasks involving state and federal credits/incentives outside of Louisiana. Philip is also responsible for creating and developing comprehensive reports to ensure accuracy with clients’ benefits.

Philip graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in finance. He is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for backpacking and mountain climbing. Philip has a lifelong goal of climbing the highest points of all 50 states and ultimately to climb Mt. Everest.

Stephen Jones

Business Development Consultant

steve jonesSteve has over 30 years in the business development, governmental affairs and public relations fields and has represented and worked for more than 50 Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries. With an extensive network of state, local and industry contacts, Steve provides a responsive approach in building a trusting and strong working relationship with his clients.

Steve has also worked locally, regionally and statewide on community and economic development projects, including economic development public policy. Steve also helped to create the port for West Feliciana Parish and was active in the development of the Chennault International Airport. Jones is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University.

Hunter Bigler

hunter biglerHunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from Brigham Young University-Idaho. With 5 years’ experience in analyzing risk asset investment portfolios of $100M+ he excels in valuation, forecasting, and financial modeling. Hunter also brings a strong foundation in client relations with experience in building B2B sales pipelines from scratch to $10M+ in just 18 months.

Hunter is an avid LSU Tigers fan and loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys foods that can be used as a vehicle for hot sauce.

Win Williamson

Executive Director

Win Williamson, CPA – Executive DirectorWin is a senior executive with 20+ years of experience in economic development, negotiated incentives, state and federal tax credits, and indirect taxes in a variety of industries on a national basis. He is a trusted advisor with proven success in optimizing capital and operational spending through tax and non-tax savings, utilizing complex technical knowledge across multiple tax disciplines and transformative process improvement principles.

Win serves clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, hospitality, energy, and transportation.

He has given public presentations regarding incentive topics to the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and the Florida Economic Development Council. Win was a contributing author to CCH’s Business Incentives Guide for the states of Florida and North Carolina.

Win received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University. Win is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.

Melissa Morris

Assistant WOTC Coordinator

Melissa MorrisMelissa has been with Sumit Credits, LLC for over three years. In those three years she has learned many tricks of the trade building relationships with clients and contacts. She focuses primarily on Federal Credits but has experience in a lot of different areas of incentives. Melissa is a loyal employee that is always eager to learn. Melissa is currently studying to be a certified Notary in Louisiana.

In Melissa’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her beautiful grandchildren. She loves to take care of people and help anyone in need. Melissa finds joy in picking up an old tradition that she once shared with her father, playing the drums!

Jordyn Huey

Incentive Specialist

Jordyn HueyJordyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. Jordyn focuses on Louisiana Enterprise Zone and Louisiana Quality Jobs but also interacts with Sales and Use Tax filings. She loves to build long-term trusting relationships with the clients and help them maximize tax credits and incentives that the state offers.

In Jordyn’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys a wide variety of activities like shopping, traveling, hunting, fishing, and four-wheeler riding.

Drew Zlotoff

Principal Architect

drew zlotoffWith a background in software architecture and development, infrastructure, application security, e-commerce platform development, and big data cloud-based computing. With over 25 years of experience, Drew is responsible for translating the software vision into a robust, performant, and secure system. Drew led the architecture, replatforming, and implementation of large-scale systems both in-house and in the cloud. Academically, Drew holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Lawrence University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arizona.
